Scope and Content This is a general view of the Tarbat peninsula, with the coastal community of Balintore at middle R. In the foreground is the farm of Culisse, encompassing remains of a much earlier settlement, possibly a chapel. Slight remains of a chapel were visible within a small enclosure called "Chapel Park" at Culiss, during the 18th century. In the centre of the photo is the diagonal cross of Fearn military airfield.
