Scope and Content Cantraydoune Motte was identified as an artificial mound since the 1st edition OS survey of 1870. Formerly wooded it is now grass-covered and monitored by HES as a scheduled monument. No earlier history of the site is currently recorded. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
