Scope and Content This image shows the site of Aboyne Station, closed in 1966, on the E edge of Aboyne Town. Although the main station building survives, other structures and the track bed have been replaced by modern housing. In the fields to the S and E down to the River Dee, soilmarks can be seen in the ripening crop. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
