Scope and Content This image shows White Caterthun Hillfort under partial snow cover, highlighting the fort defences and possibly some of the unenclosed ring ditch settlement previously recorded here. It is an Iron Age fort consisting of a double stone wall, probably timber-laced, with earthen outer defences.
