Scope and Content This slightly blurred image shows Brown Caterthun Hillfort under partial snow cover. This is a multi-vallate and probably multi-period hill-fort, unique in that although some smaller and less complex structures in southern Aberdeenshire show comparable features, no close parallel is known.
