Scope and Content This rather grainy, general view shows the fields at Ord Muir and Balvraid at the E end of Strath Conon as the river enters the Cromarty Firth, with the settlements of Conon Bridge and Maryburgh visible under a light covering of snow. Conon Mains is visible as a clump of buildings just down and L of centre. Up and to its right, hidden in trees, is Conon House, seat of the Mackenzies.
