Scope and Content A general view looking down the length of Loch Ness with Urquhart Bay on the right and the B852 curving along the shore on the left towards Inverfarigaig. This minor road is the line of General Wade's military road to Fort Augustus. At the far mouth of Urquhart Bay, Urquhart Castle can just be seen.
