Scope and Content A general view of the three main Bronze Age cairns at Balnauran of Clava, the property of Historic Environment Scotland. These have been extensively studied with sources listed in the records. Excavation suggests the main phase of construction and use of the monument was in the early Bronze Age circa 2000BC with a subsequent period of activity circa 1000 years later.
