Scope and Content The roofed building in the foreground was the 19thC Ferryman's cottage and inn for the Ulva Ferry. Note also the two roofless structures to the left. The cleared stretches on the beach at the bottom right may possibly be boat slipways, although they may equally just be caused by flood events from the burn.
