Scope and Content A close view of the Causeway area of Cromarty with: Clunes House lower right, to its left Clunes Cottage, and left again, The Kennels. Above Clunes House, at top R, Burnside Cottage lies close to the shore. Above The Kennels, across the road and left is the Old Manse. Within the Manse walled garden excavation ahead of recent building work found evidence of extensive medieval and later activity. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
