Scope and Content Kilravock Castle (circa 1475) in the foreground was originally a quadrilateral keep. In the 17th century the keep was enlarged into a large square castle. It has since been modified and is still occupied. To the right is the dovecote, possibly 16c or 17c. There was reputed to be a chapel on the same site, hence the name Kilravock, but no trace remains.
