Scope and Content Cawdor Castle to the right comprises a towerhouse (modified circa 1456) with curtain wall and dry-moat built circa 1396, with 17th century additions. It is still inhabited and in excellent condition. The walled garden is at the top, there are Canmore and HER references but no details.
