Scope and Content Ardross Castle was remodelled and extended in 1880-81, incorporating an earlier building. It originally belonged to the Munros but then passed to the Mathesons and then on to the Perrins family (of Lee and Perrins fame) in 1880. The terraced garden was laid out circa 1909. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
