Scope and Content Dalcross Airfield, now Inverness International Airport, started as a turf runway for the RAF during WWII. After the war it continued in military use until 1974 when it was converted to a civil airfield. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
