Scope and Content Craig Phadrig Hill Fort, in the centre of the photo, is an oval Iron Age vitrified fort with evidence of re-use as a manufacturing site. It sits in a commanding position high on the slopes of Craig Phadrig to the immediate NW of Inverness. The fort has an outer rampart, also heavily vitrified.
