Scope and Content Dochfour House circa 1740, which faces SE on the NW shore of Loch Ness, has been extensively altered. It was designed as an Italianate mansion, including a two-storey tower. It is the home of the Burton family. Dochfour walled garden and gardener's cottage are to the right. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
