Scope and Content In this image, the Inverness Retail Park at the eastern margin of the city is under construction. The A96 Inverness to Aberdeen trunk road is in the foreground. At far R is the old Coach House Inn, now (2021) called The Snow Goose Inn. To its L is a new hotel. To the L of that is the L-shaped construction of Cowan House. The large white-roofed building at middle L is a cinema complex. Raigmore Hospital is towards top right. The roundabout in the foreground is near the site of the Bronze Age Cemetery, Seafield park. Excavations found cremation pits and artefacts and a ring ditch. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
