Scope and Content A wide view of a multiperiod landscape. Among the 19th century and more recent houses and fields are numerous prehistoric remains. Two large cairns, at least one of which is chambered, lie below centre on the far right, one in the grassy area and another on the top of the hill to the left above. Spread across the field with the cairns, and across the fields and rough ground higher up are bronze or iron age roundhouses and other signs of contemporary settlement. Other roundhouse areas lie in the rough ground below the main road. Towards the far end of the road heading towards the upper left is an iron age broch. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
