Scope and Content A wide view of an area where numerous bronze or iron age roundhouses, clearance cairns and sign of cultivation have been found scattered across the area between the loch and the plantations. In the lower right a 19th century stell lies close to the shore and below it is a chambered cairn. A second chambered cairn lies left of centre and close to the tree line and a third lies in the centre of the left hand edge of the picture. A stone circle was recorded in the area in the 19th century but there is no such feature now. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
