Scope and Content A general view with Chapleton School lower left. In the fields to the right on both sides of the road there are a number of clearance cairns, fragmentary banks and walls from a former field system. The clump of trees (since removed) just right of centre is within a probable bronze or iron age roundhouse. Some of the other wall fragments may be the remains of other roundhouses.
