Scope and Content The island to the right in the loch, linked to the shore with a manmade causeway is a possible crannog, traditionally known as a castle. There no longer appear to be any piles. On the L, on the far shore near Laurel Cottage, on the edge of the woodland, there is the crop mark of a ring ditch. To the right of the cottage near the trees aerial photos reveal a circular enclosure. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
