Scope and Content The island in the loch, linked to the shore with a manmade causeway, is a possible crannog, traditionally known locally as a castle. There no longer appear to be any wooden piles. On the R of the image, in front of the houses, is the crop mark of a possible Neolithic henge, with several HER and Canmore references to buildings, although no further detail is given.
