Scope and Content The photo shows the unusual Lentran Point double 'yair', or tidal fish trap, constructed of linear banks of large boulders turning at a right angle after 200m. Near the shore there are timber uprights, possibly an associated jetty. At the top is the railway line and the A 862, between Inverness and Beauly.
