Scope and Content Aigas Loch is in the centre. Starting as a natural loch, Loch -an-a-Caileach, it was dammed in later C19 to provide a larger recreational loch for the Aigas House sporting estate. At the top of the photo is a area of land containing a settlement of six huts with a field system named Loch -an-a-Caileach. The A831 road to Cannich (to R) is just seen at the top L of the photo.
