Scope and Content To the left is the Caledonian Canal, completed by Telford in 1822. To the right is the River Ness with a weir visible. On the right bank is Ness-side House. At mid-R, in the trees, is Milton of Ness-side farmhouse. At the top, as the canal curves round to the R between trees, is Clachnahulig Basin.
