Scope and Content At the top centre of the photo, on a knoll jutting into the S side of Loch Ruthven, is Tom Buidhe, comprising a fortified structure. It has a flattened top and a circumferential dyke. It is currently separated from the shore by a ditch. It may have been an island dwelling. To its R are the footings of about 9 buildings and enclosures shown on the Ist edition OS. At middle L is a crannog in the loch.
