Scope and Content Loch Oich is in the centre and, to the L, Laggan swing bridge which carries the A82 over the Caledonian Canal. Obscured by the trees in front of the canal is a 19c Canal worker's cottage. There are references to a crannog in the bay beside the bridge, Eilean MacMuchan (or MacMulchan), no longer visible. In the foreground, now under the site of the chalets, were two prehistoric hut circles named Rath Fhinn. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
