Scope and Content This plan shows part of the cluster of buildings amongst the field-banks and clearance heaps on the crest of the hill. They include three curious open-ended structures (A) with sunken interiors measuring from 9m to 11.5m in length by 3m in breadth. No other buildings of this type have been encountered in the course of the survey of Eastern Dumfriesshire. Redrawn for publication from DC 33418.
