Scope and Content A view of the prominent East Sutherland hill of Ben Bhragaidh, too distant to note any archaeology detail, apart from the large monument on its summit. It was built in 1837 to commemorate the First Duke of Sutherland, designed by William Burn in 1834. In the foreground are the extensive Balblair and Ferry Woods, with Strath Fleet to the L of them, the Moray Firth coastline to the R. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
