Scope and Content A very wide view of an area densely packed with archaeological sites. In the centre around the mast is an extensive field system with clearance cairns and within the fields there are also chambered cairns, roundhouses and burnt mounds. Towards the upper left corner, but on this side of the road is another field system with clearance cairns and a very prominent circular feature, now thought to be a round house within a ditched and banked enclosure. The area in the foreground is the reputed site of a sixteenth century battle. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
