Scope and Content Loch nan Carraigean lies north of Aviemore. The Perth/Inverness railway line cuts it in two. Around it there is a substantial area of hut circles and field system which extends to the far side of the A95. The feature in the lower right area of the photo is a Clava-type ring cairn at Grenish.
