Scope and Content The remains of Borve Castle are situated on a promontory towards the bottom centre of picture. It was occupied by the Mackays but captured and destroyed by the Earl of Sutherland in the mid C16. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
