Scope and Content Easter and Wester Rarichie are hill forts on the Tarbet Peninsula. Both were excavated in 2013 by University of Aberdeen, and an Iron Age date was confirmed. At Wester Rarichie, the remains of a turf walled roundhouse were exposed, with a well worn entrance and a series of ditches and banks. The excavation on Easter Rarichie uncovered a stone-built roundhouse and hearth. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
