Scope and Content This is a general view of the eastern side of Inverness. The Inverness Retail Park is at upper right. This was built at Wester Seafield in 1996. An excavation was carried out in advance of building and a Bronze Age cemetery was discovered. Raigmore Hospital, opened in 1941, is to its left and the Hilton estate is in the lower half of the picture. Hilton Primary School, opened 1957, and the Culcabock Golf Course are in the centre of picture. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
