Scope and Content A general view with Morayston Farm just below centre left. In the lower right is the Norbord factory and in the sandy area to its right the remains of a former farmstead. Left of the factory and close to the road is the much reduced former gallow hill mound where human remains were unearthed in 1860. From the top left corner of the factory site a burn runs diagonally towards the 17th century and later Castle Stuart. A little above centre is Alturlie Point, the site of the medieval St Columba's chapel, and across the Moray Firth on the prominent high point is Ord Hill vitrified fort.
