Scope and Content The photo shows current crofting townships at Fanmore on the N shore of Loch Tuath, West Mull. At the top L of the image is the Burg Peninsula, once home to dozens of substantial townships, which was cleared in the mid 19th century. Also to Dun Aisgain Broch in the Burg area. A bronze hoard was found near Fanmore. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
