Scope and Content The Kessock Bridge was opened in 1982 as part of the upgrade and realignment of the A9. It replaced the ferry which had operated between South and North Kessock since the C15 at least. To the right of the Bridge on the Inverness side were two WW2 sites - a rifle range and a pillbox, both of which are now under the Longman Industrial Estate. On the left side of the Bridge, off Longman Point there are at least three wrecks. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
