Administrative History Five notebooks: on Islay (1924-1925), Kilneuair (undated), Jura (1925-1928), Knapdale, and two on Colonsay (1913 and 1921), mainly noting carved stones and other objects, contain day by day accounts of his visits to these areas, with many pencil diagrams. These are supplemented by manuscript accounts from local people and extracts from earlier publications. There are also many photographs (filed separately).
