Administrative History Stewart Tod and Partners, architects. Stewart Tod studied architecture at Edinburgh College of Art; he was elected ARIBA in 1953, and ARIAS in 1954, before joining the practice of David Carr in 1955. In 1964 he joined his brother Charles Robert Tod in practice as Stewart Tod and Sons, although remaining an associate in CarrâÃÂÃÂs practice. The Tod and Carr practices merged in 1970 and in 1985 became Stewart Tod and Partners. The practice and its predecessors specialised in work on historic buildings, including Stobhall Castle (1987), and Castle of Park (1992).
