Scope and Content Written on the back of the mounted print: 'Shire: Midlothian. Building: Glencorse Old Kirk. Charles and John Proudfoot 1742’. Photographer: 'G.N.' Date: 'July 1965' Text on the gravestone: 'March 9th 1742 this monument was erected by Charles and John Proudfooots. Here lyes the corps of Patrick Proudfoot and Janet Hunter his spouse, also tuo cihldren of the above designed John Proudfoot viz Ja & Patrick Proudfoots, also Wil Proudfoot son to Cha Proudfoot who died Feb 24th 1746 aged 15 years'.
