Scope and Content A brief four page report on an excavation of a pipetrench for the laying of a gas pipeline between the gas govenor kiosk at Mount Pleasant and Helensburgh across the presumed line of the Antonine Wall at two point in the vicinity of Old Kilpatrick (at NS 4705 7314 and NS 46257335) close to the gas governor kiosk itself and west of Mount Pleasant Farmhouse. The excavation was carried out by Dr Lawrence Keppie and Neil Curtis, Hunterian Museum, University of Glasgow.
