Scope and Content This is a 31-page report, including text, map, diagrams and photographs, recording a project to prepare the kiln at the West Settlement, Mulchaich Farm, Ferintosh, Ross-shire for presentation to the public, carried out by members of the North of Scotland Archaeological Society between October 2012 and September 2013. Earlier, in 2009 and 2010, members of the Society had recorded and surveyed the site. Oral tradition that the site had been a distillery. It was felt that together with a nearby chambered cairn the site would make an attractive place to visit and, with the landowners' agreement, the Society set about preparing the site for presentation to the public. This report records the process.
