Description Alloa, Whins Road, Brewery, Barns Block, first floor, interior View of bottom of the four 5 tonne malt bins dating from 1950s with automatic rotary valves installed in 1994 (these give measured amounts of grain). These bins hold chocolate and crystal malts which are measured. These are then mixed in malt bin 'E' with bulk grain and carried by conveyors to the mill room for milling. All the systems are incorporated into an automatic controlled Redler conveyor and elevator system
