Scope and Content Album contains black and white and colour postcards and some photographs of numerous different locations in Scotland, England, Egypt and Greece; many are as collected and created by John Marshall during both his Militiary and Artistic Career, the later are addressed to a Betty and David in the 60's. Some of the postcards were used and others just collected. Sites include; Multangular Tower, sites in York, Lincoln Cathedral, Hampton Court Palace, Houses of Parliament, British Museum, Westminster Abbey, sites in Alexandria and Heliopolis in Greece, Numerous wonders from Egypt, sites in Cambridge, Huntingdon, sites in Inverness area, Dunrobin Castle, Linlithgow Palace, Melrose Abbey, Stirling Castle, sites in Birmingham, Hawick, St. Andrews, Arbroath, Leicester, Stowe, Canterbury, Dalmeny Church, Ayr, Aberdeen, Leeds, Crathie, Chatsworth House, Bolsover, Tewkesbury, Worcester Cathedral, Malvern, Droitwich, Stratford-upon-avon, Aberdour, Southport, Newcastle-on-tyne, Empire Exhibition of 1938, and Venice.
