Description Barrel or cask ends. DP97/A023, two conjoining pieces with pegs constituting nearly half of the circumference. Original diameter 42cm. Two peg-holes in the lower board, which carries the initials 'R P' and has a spigot-hole. DP03/054b constitutes half of the circumference of a 37cm-diameter end and has indeterminate marks and two peg-holes. Second from bottom, outer board from an end 50cm in diameter, with two spigot-holes and indeterminate angular markings. Bottom, half of a broken centre board 24cm in diameter with indeterminate angular markings. Scale in centimetres. (Colin Martin)
