Scope and Content On board HMC Woodlark at Alloa. In reply to letter with sketches from Petrie. Expedition to source of the Forth the next day. Thomas is working on Pictish and Viking Orkney, mentions 'the bronze ornaments found with the skeletons at Burgar, Pierowall etc'. Getting on slowly with his Memoir. Mr Wilson is to draw bone pins from Skaill.
