Scope and Content Temporary camps at Durisdeer, Dumfries and Galloway There are two Roman temporary camps at Durisdeer. They stand on uneven ground. No traces of the camps can be found at ground level. This is an aerial view of the site. Cropmarks show half of one of the camps in the middle of the image, to the left of the modern road. The rectangular shape with rounded corners is clearly seen. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
