Scope and Content Temporary camps at Durisdeer, Dumfries and Galloway There are two Roman temporary camps at Durisdeer. They stand on uneven ground. No traces of the camps can be found at ground level. This is an aerial view of the site with cropmarks showing one of the camps. Its rectangular form can be seen in the centre of the image, to either side of the modern road. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
