Description Gwalior Memorial, Kolkata. The memorial, close to Fort William, was erected in the memory of British soldiers who died in the British expedition against the Maharajah of Gwalior. It was nicknamed the "Pepper Pot". Built around 1850 it has recently housed a coffee shop on the riverside.
