This site was recorded as part of the Kale Water Survey project and is largely as described previously on the date of visit.
There are two turf sheepfolds in unimproved pasture on Mill Knowe, about 400m E of South Riccalton steading. Both are now reduced to low ring-banks. Immediately to the N of the sheepfolds there is a length of turf bank which runs from NE to SW for 341m, then curves to the NW for a further 74m (NT 73592 11994 to NT 73277 11860).
